Pressing On

Life is hard!  Adam recent told a congregation that when we choose to follow Christ, life gets even harder.  Satan wants to deceive us and try to separate us from the love of God, but it's impossible!  Do we believe that?  Even amid the challenges we face, we "press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." (Phil. 3:14)

September included a quick trip to the States for Adam and Suzie.  We were able to surprise our 2nd born and her fiancé as they celebrated their upcoming marriage with a wonderful wedding shower!  We also trained the next group of missionaries coming to serve in Sub-Saharan Africa. The month also included multiple trainings in evangelism and discipleship!  The Lord is doing great things in Nairobi and throughout the whole Kenya!

October was a blur but so rich and full of God's goodness and more opportunities to lift high HIS name!  We hosted our bi-annual conference for missionaries in their first term.  It was a refreshing time for everyone involved.  We're so thankful for our leaders, guest speakers and the participants that made it a wonderful week.  Some of our former co-laboreres from Madagascar, that now serve in churches in the States, volunteered with the children at the conference and then took us on a safari.  It was so sweet to be serving together during the conference and then spend time in fellowship together!

Baylee and River continue to thrive in school and sports.  Baylee's basketball season will be coming to an end next week.  Her team is undefeated!!  River finished up soccer this week and will begin basketball in a few weeks.  Both of them are studying hard and learning a lot this year.

We will be coming back to the States for the month of December.  We'll be giving Emma's hand in marriage, leading another training with the next group missionaries coming to Sub-Saharan Africa, and enjoying the Christmas season with our family!  Please pray for a restful time as we have been running hard for some time now!
