Putting Words into Action

As many of you all know, we have arrived safely at our home in Nairobi.  Our time in the USA was lovely, and we are so thankful for the times we had with so many of you.  We truly enjoyed getting to share what the Lord is doing and how He is at work.  The Lord is good, and we are thankful to be considered worthy to be His servants here.  As we shared and updated you all, we were constantly reminded of our need to be true to our words and stay connected to the Lord.

We are now finished with week one in Nairobi, and we are healthy and ready to get to work.  We don’t just want to tell what God has done, but we want to live in unison with Him as He desires to accomplish new things in and through our lives.  Thus, we are here on the ground, ready to get to work.  Now we are ready, but we also need prayers answered so that we know that we are stepping where the Lord desires us to step.

Walking in step with the Lord is our desire.  We want Him to be glorified and honored.  We pray for the Lord to unite hearts from our team and local Brothers and Sisters in Christ.  We pray for a united vision and for us all to work under the Lord’s guidance.  Most of all that we see the reality of African churches sending African missionaries throughout Africa and the world.  Join us in praying and serving the Lord as He does Mighty things for His Namesake.

Praises:

  • We made it back safely and are all healthy
  • We have met up with friends, and everyone seems to be doing well
  • We loved our time in the USA, and we are thankful for the time with family
  • Josh, Phoebe, and Emma are doing well.
  • Baylee had a good birthday!

Prayer Request:

  • School starts here soon for River and Baylee
  • For ourselves and partners to set our pride and personal agendas aside and allow the Lord to rule
  • That we engage faithfully and whole-heartedly the harvest fields here in Nairobi
  • For the Lord to comfort our hearts and help us see His hand at work
  • For us to serve in all of our roles with excellence as to give the Lord glory and honor in all we do
