God is Good

We serve a mighty God!  Isn't he good?

During our time in the states we have been able to do so much!!! We celebrated Phoebe's graduation from Texas A&M, Emma's Social Work penning ceremony, & Phoebe's and Josh's union in marriage.  We were able to see many of you and visit multiple churches to see all that God is doing through the Church here in the States and share how he's moving overseas.  If we didn't get to connect with you this time, we hope to be back in another 2 years.  Maybe we'll catch you then.

As we shared with churches we also tried to train and deepen our partnerships.  We can't thank you enough for your support- both in prayer and in giving- but we hope to see many of you in Kenya working alongside us in the near future.  As countries begin to open up, we are hopeful that our bi-annual trainings will return to in-person meetings, and we'll need your help to come and work alongside us.  If you have any desire to serve short term and/or long term, let us know.  There's a place for you!

Our time in the states has drawn to an end.  It has been a full, fun time.  As usual, our feelings about returning to the field are mixed.  We're ready to be back and involved again in the local ministry as well as the more normal routine of our day-to-day, but the good-byes NEVER GET EASIER!

Thank you for continuing to pray for us.

Praises:

*Baylee finished her 5-online courses to complete her Sophomore year of high school.

*River followed in believer's baptism.

*We were able to make all 15 of our church visits during our 12 weeks in the States.  What a blessing to meet with each of you!

*We have tickets to return to Nairobi.

Prayer Requests:

*Pray for negative COVID tests- which are required by Kenyan Government for return.

*Pray for sweet good-byes.  We've already said a few and have a few more left.

*Pray for smooth travels and an easy re-entry into Nairobi.

Suzie finally got to paint with her mom & sisters! Something she's been wanting to do for a long time.

River followed the Lord in believer's baptism, professing his faith in Christ.

It was our first time back for 4th of July celebrations in the States in 10 years; River's first 4th here ever.

We enjoyed time with family.
