Completing God's Mission Puzzle

One of the greatest needs for effective ministry anywhere is the ability to communicate what the vision is and in missions what the end-vision is.  We feel like we have a good handle on these two things but as we continue to see the Lord do more than we expected at this point we continuously find ourselves falling at His feet and seeking His guidance.  We feel like we are just putting together a puzzle one piece at a time and we have never seen the cover to know exactly how it should all look.  There are so many pieces to put together and we have so many pieces that we have yet to see or encounter.  We seek to be faithful and obedient to Him and walk each day according to where He is leading us.

As we seek Him and seek to follow His voice and direction for our lives we continuously ask Him to give us His wisdom from above.  We are in the tough part of the puzzle.  We have the border coming together but we are now starting to work on the details of inner pieces of the puzzle.  Many things seem to fit and many things look right but we don’t always know until we try or give people a chance to lead out.  We study the shapes and look at the current and future events and pray that we are stepping according to His will.

As we take these steps and seek to put the right pieces of the puzzle in the right places we look back and begin to see how the Lord has allowed us to see Him do many things.  This past month we were able to hear about and have teammates witness the first baptism service in a village that as of a year ago there wasn’t anyone who would declare themselves to be a believer.  We have seen new believers over the years begin to grow and reproduce themselves.  We are seeing new Bible studies develop in two new areas of our town where we live.  We have a group meeting every Saturday in a new village.  We have transitioned our teaching from evangelism and Biblical foundations to sharing church formation in six different areas.  God is so good and we so desire to be obedient to Him.  Would you pray for God to do the amazing in all of our lives.

As a family we continue to be super blessed.  So happy to have Phoebe and Emma in country with us.  It is the first time in a year that we have all been together here in Madagascar.  They are absolutely enjoying this time as well.  Baylee started 5th grade and celebrated her 11th birthday and is continuing to blossom into a wonderful young lady.  River is learning new tricks and is full of energy.  He is a good boy!  Adam and Suzie continue to faithfully serve in many areas and are savoring each moment with the whole family together.

 Prayer Request:
  • For upcoming bush trips and training of trainers
  • For the Malagasy leaders and believers to continue to grow in Christ and have a clear vision for how to multiply
  • For Phoebe and Emma to enjoy the rest of their time here in Madagascar
  • For our South Team and the upcoming events, prayer retreat and trainings.

Praises:
  • George did a great job here in the South and he made it home
  • Although Margaret didn't get to join us here in the South she did have a great trip to Antsirabe and encouraged many women there.
