The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Dear Partners, Friends and Family,

As we have finished off the month of November and celebrated a time of Thanksgiving we find ourselves truly in awe of the love and support that we get and feel on a regular basis.  The joy of knowing that people are praying, receiving some care packages, emails, facebooks, phone calls, skype, and so much more helps us remember that we are not alone here.  We know that the Lord has called us and we have seen His hand in and around us.  However, it is so humbling to know that there are people all around the world that are lifting us and the work here in Mada up to the Father.  We are so grateful for you.  We also are very grateful for our families and even though it is different not having the opportunity to see them all for this special time of the year we have found that the Lord has provided a wonderful Mission family for us here and we are extremely grateful for them.  We are so thankful that we got the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving with them.  As Christmas comes we remember that the greatest gift is our Lord Jesus Christ and we are so thankful that He not only calls but helps you fulfill the calling He has placed on your life including ours.  We have had more opportunities to share about the life that is in Christ Jesus and we look forward to the day when we will be able to share with them fluently in Malagasy about the Lord Jesus Christ.  However, for now we do all that we can so that others know the reason for our very existence not just Christmas.  So as December rolls in we just want to tell you thank you and give you some specifics to pray for.

Prayer Needs:
  • Language study.  We have progressed well so far but have had the most difficult times over the past couple of weeks.  Pray that the Lord would make us (mazoto) dedicated students at all times.
  • The Lost in Mada:  There are many churches here in Antsirabe but I am not for sure about the reality of Christ in the peoples lives.  Pray that people would come to know Christ as the only Lord and Savior.
  • Family, Friends and Us:  This is probably the hardest time of the year for M's around the world.  Just knowing that family and friends are getting together makes us miss you guys even more.  Pray that we would remember the reason for the season and the reason we are here.
  • Health:  Many on our team, not so much us yet, have been sick.  Please pray for the Father to help keep us safe as we eat weird things and drink weird things.  (Nothing Sinful)
Praises:
  • The Lord has given us opportunities to share about His Son Jesus Christ.
  • We are adjusting well to a new world
  • We are making new friends.
  • We have many things that other M's don't have so we are grateful
  • You guys Rock!
