Misy Mitady

This month the Lord has been reminding me the importance of dying to myself and living for Christ. John 12:24-26 compares us to a grain of wheat.If the grain falls to the earth and dies, it bears fruit.God has called us to bear fruit; spiritual fruit, therefore we must die to ourselves.Galatians 2:20 is a familiar verse as well. “I have been crucified with Christ.It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Dying to self is a choice.We must resolve to take up our cross daily and follow Him.

“Misy mitady” is a phrase representing a reality of our life here.“Someone’s looking for you.”Each day, and I mean EACH day, we’re given the opportunity to decide how we’re going to handle someone looking for us.Usually they’re in need of help.This help can range anywhere from school fees, to sickness, to rent, to bus fare.Each person really needs help, of course some more than ot…
