Praise and Press On

Let us start off this month by saying thank you!  The journey continues. Even as the storm seems never-ending but we appreciate your prayers and praise God who fills us and sustains us.

The month of July was jam packed.  We had a number of volunteers and visitors passing through.  One team that threw us a 4th of July party!  We had almost 100 in attendance from our company that were blessed with burgers, hot dogs, plus sweet and savory treats from America! We trained three churches in evangelism and discipleship.  We had a teaching for leaders and their wives on hermeneutics and ethics.  We taught youth about missions at one church and participate in a revival that Adam preached.  We had the opportunity to go door to door sharing the gospel a number of times, putting to practice what the church members were learning and saw many desiring to give their lives to Christ.  Continue to pray for revival and for peace as elections will take place on August 9th.

We were also able to spend time at a team leaders meeting with our company people.  We were very encouraged as we worshipped, studied the word, played, and fellowshipped.  We also had a few work-related sessions.

We finished the month with a short getaway to the Masai Mara.  It's been on our bucket list for years and it did not disappoint.  We saw so many animals, many we hadn't seen in the wild before.  It was also a treat because we were the only ones at our camp.  It was a quiet, relaxing time.  Just what we needed.

Then, lastly we celebrated Baylee's 18th birthday.  Can you believe she's already 18?  We can't! But she is a very mature, kind-hearted young lady that desires most to make much of Christ.  We couldn't ask for more than that!

Praises:

*Many committed their lives to Christ this month.

*Baylee had a good birthday. We praise God for another year of life.

*We had many meetings and got a lot of work done...or are headed in the right direction with work-related things.

Prayer requests:

*Kenya elections- August 9th. (Results tentatively expected on the 13th.)

*Upcoming travels over the next semester and maintaining balance in our schedule.
