Been A While

It's hard to write an update when your "to-do" list keeps getting in the way, but we missed sending one in February and March, so APRIL it is! As most of you know, we spent the month of February trying to mend from our surgeries!  Adam had arthroscopy on his knee to repair the meniscus and take out some pieces of bone and cartilage that were no longer connected.  Then the doctor also drilled holes in his knee to create a soft pad from the blood clotted and add cushion to what has become a bone-on-bone situation.  Those repairs required the use of crutches for 6 weeks as to not bear all his weight and burst that blood clot.  Two weeks after his surgery I had a bicycle accident while competing in a sprint triathlon.  A compound fracture of my right arm, breaking both my radius and ulna, resulted in two surgeries and 8 days in the hospital.  Praise God for good medical care that can be found in Nairobi and more praises to God for the body of Christ coming together in prayer,
