“If Ever I Loved Thee, My Jesus ‘tis Now”

So yesterday in church we sang the hymn “My Jesus I Love Thee” by William R. Featherton and it was such a sweet reminder of our dependence on our Lord Jesus Christ.  We were struck by the last phrase that stated, “if ever I loved thee, my Jesus ‘tis now”.  We were reminded that God loves us so completely and he loves without favoritism.  He never changes.  In the midst of thinking of His great love for us, our hearts just cried out to him in love and adoration.  It took our concerns and issues we have and made them insignificant.  We were able to just remember how much we love Jesus.   Life here in Nairobi is happening at a fast pace and it seems that days are flying by.  We are making inlets into the language and culture but have so much more to learn.  We have enjoyed seeing people hear the story of Jesus Christ with new eyes and we are really excited about seeing fellow Kenyan brothers and sisters in Christ get excited about God’s Word and living for him.  We have seen so many step-
