Running with Purpose

So many times, we find ourselves so busy that we can't truly remember what we did yesterday and much less what is coming in the future.  Life just seems to be eating away at our passions and dreams.  We would even say we are just going through the motions.  Here on the mission field, we have learned that knowing a major event is coming up is always a motivating factor for keeping our focus in the busy seasons of life.  However, thanks to Covid many of us just find ourselves running forward but confused as to why or what the end-goal may be.  Even knowing how things will turn out.  Everything is uncertain.

January has been one of those months.  There were many times we found ourselves wondering what we were doing.  We hit this new year and took off in a sprint.  With our new role as the Nairobi City team leaders as well as our affinity training role we pushed forward and sought to learn many new things.  God was really good and allowed us to learn much and see unity among so many of us.  We not only saw unity in thought as it pertains to imb teammates but also in the hearts of our Kenyan brothers and sisters in Christ.  The Lord is truly at work.  This has allowed us to feel so excited for what the Lord desires to do in the future.

As we push forward towards what God desires to do in the future we find ourselves standing firm in Him and who He is.  We see that we are able to run and run with purpose to find those areas where God is at work and working and fulfill His purposes.  We have freedom to dream and believe that we can attempt great things for His glory.  Thus, we desire to run with purpose and make much of His name and fame.
