An Attitude of Gratitude

November was not an easy month for most of us.  We learned much about ourselves, we mourned with friends as a dear went on to be with Jesus, we hurt with friends that are ill, we lived through some hard personal moments as well.  One thing that became very evident to us throughout November is that we have a God that cares.  He gives comfort and peace in the midst of trials. For that very reason we find our solves so thankful to the Lord for everything that is happening around us.  It is hard to always see the good in the situation, but we have seen the Lord’s hand at work.

The Lord has heard our prayers and answered them through you guys.  All the prayers, support and kind words have been so helpful.  We remember daily that we have the greatest support system in the world.  Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you all to impact our lives.  Our hearts are grateful, and we know that our words can never adequately express how thankful we truly are.  We could fill pages upon pages for every little thing we are grateful for.

We learned this month to even be ready for the unexpected things that may come your way.  As many of you are aware, we moved to Nairobi in August to take on a trainer role and we have attempted to settle in and love our new home.  Nairobi is a nice place to live but very different from how we have lived these past nine years.  Thus, we have invested time and energy to get to know the city and the people better.  Somehow the Lord saw fit to move pieces around that has allowed us the privilege of leading out for ministry in the city of Nairobi.  The learning curve is steep, and we are shocked that the Lord asked us to take on this added responsibility.  We do know that the Lord guided us to this, and we are ready to move forward in this new role.

So, pray that we can walk in humility, wisdom and obedience in the Lord to all that is ahead of us.  Pray that we can effectively do two roles at the level of excellence that the Lord requires out of us.  Pray that our hearts will remain thankful in all circumstances.

Praises:

  • We are seeing disciples made and excitement for the Lord and His Word.
  • We had several successful training sessions in November
  • The Lord has been a protector for us.
  • Baylee finished off her first term of her Sophomore year
  • Phoebe and Emma finished off another semester of university work

Prayer Request:

  • Pray for the South of Madagascar and the severe famine that is taking place.  Specifically, for ran, crops and help to be beneficial and long-lasting.
  • Pray for the Christmas season and for Phoebe and Emma to remain safe as they come visit us for Christmas
  • Pray for Adam’s parents as they begin retirement from full time ministry.

  1. I give praise to Mr Benjamin enough for his help in securing a loan to buy our new home for our family. Benjamin was a wealth of information and he helped educate me and my family as to why a home loan was the best option for our particular situation. After conferring with Benjamin and our financial advisor everyone agreed that a home loan was the perfect solution. You can contact Mr Benjamin if you also looking for any kind of loan on Email/Whatsapp: 247officedept@gmail.com Whatsapp: +1-989-394-3740
